Released in 1964, “The Last Man on Earth” is considered to be the most faithful adaptation of Richard Matheson’s novel, “I Am Legend”.

Since entering the public domain, the film has been released numerous times on VHS and DVD with, unfortunately, rather poor video and audio quality.
