It’s difficult to come to the realization that had you not have allowed them to put your loved on on those pills
…they might still be here 😔.

Imagine you have built your career prescribing psychiatric drugs to children. Making the case to families these drugs are necessary. Safe. Effective. Medicine. Your entire professional identity is built upon these drugs acting in ways that improve functioning. You support your family by prescribing drugs. This is all you offer in healthcare. I do not believe the human psyche is constructed to fully accept they were complicit in harm. They will defend their actions to the very end. The dissonance is too much to tolerate.
